Beginning as a grass-roots organization, The Association of Professionals Treating Eating Disorders (APTED) has served the community for over 25 years. Through many donations of time and heart – and participation by you – we continue to thrive. APTED provides referral information and a weekly newsletter of events in the greater Bay Area.

APTED Specialty Clinic and Training Program
Our Specialty Clinic training program educates interns in the treatment of eating disorders and staffs our sliding scale therapy clinic, as well as providing prevention, outreach & education work around the Bay Area.
The clinic is staffed by Master’s and Doctorate level therapists, who are specializing in the treatment of eating disorders.
